Objectives are usually used in job applications to give the recruiters an idea of what kind of job you’re looking for. If you are applying to a large organization that offers many scholarships, you could write which scholarship you hope to receive and how it will benefit others in your objective. But generally, an objective for a scholarship application isn’t necessary unless it specifically requests it.

What does the reader expect you to put? Everything on your resume should answer what you think the reader’s question might be. Also objectives tend to be very personal, so sit down with a few sheets of paper and do some brainstorming for 5 minutes.
