Lancaster County 4-H 2009 Year in Review

In Nebraska, the 4-H youth development program is part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension. In 2009, Lancaster County 4-H reached more than 23500 youth. Nearly 1200 adult volunteers invested about 22000 hours! There are 4-H clubs, independent 4-H members, school enrichment, afterschool programs, and summer camps. 2009 saw a lot of new programs and activities. Numerous events which give youth plenty of opportunities to learn, practice skills and have fun!
