My first concert was a Beatles tribute concert. They played two songs orchestra styled, than four beatles impersonaters got on stage and song. My voice was soar for a week from multiple fangirlish screams.

how was he standing in a tree? he’s terrified of heights! he can’t get on a table, but he can stand up in a tree?
never been to a ‘normal’ concert. I’ve been to orchestra concerts and such, and I went to listen to the Remus Lupins and Whomping willow play in fron of the capitol, but that’s it

I’ve been to the Kansas City Symphony, and I was at the Tour de Nerdfighting in Kansas City. Community bands playing Fourth of July and stuff. I’ve played in those community bands. But other than that, no concerts.

Now, John, I take complete umbrage that you deride Chicago as a lame first concert. They made darn good tunes. I listen to those tunes today to reflect moods. So various in tone, so infectious in melody and riff and often, pure feel-good excellence. Four words: Saturday in the Park.
